The United Kingdom Gambling Commission announced on its website on the 5th of September that it has decided to suspend EveryMatrix’s B2C products for the moment. This is following a review that EveryMatrix is under and will remain so until the outcome is released.

The company is under investigation for its operating license, especially the customer interaction framework range. The UK Gambling Commission announced the company’s white label partners about the freeze in the same morning, on September the 5th.

The white label partners, operating under EveryMatrix license, which are now under suspension are MrWin, Pwr.bet, Sporting Index, Playfrank, Westcasino and Hetbull. The Sporting Index mobile casino announced on its website that remote gambling activities will be suspended until the issue is concluded, offering details about the matter to its customers. The operator also announced that its customers can continue to use their account and also withdrawal funds.

The UK Gambling Commission did not offer further details about the situation, just stipulating that it is a situation which regards the company’s interaction framework. The suspension was made under the S116 section from the UK Gambling Act, the same section being used also in the case of the two FSB Technology white label partners’ suspension.

However, in this case, not all of EveryMatrix’s activities have been affected. The company’s activities, such as gambling software, manufacturing, installing, adapting and supplying, have not been affected.

The UK Gambling Commission allowed EveryMatrix’s white label partners, which have been affected by the investigation, that they can allow their customers to make withdrawals for the funds in their accounts. Moreover, the operators were granted the ability to settle and close the ante-post bets placed before the freeze.

EveryMatrix has also sent a notice to its white label partners regarding the issue, in which it stipulated that the first-line support communication with customers will be taken over. The partners are to look for second-line communications with their customers and use those methods.

Recently, the UK Gambling Commission has taken a tougher stand regarding the operators which violate the rules and regulations of the act which they are under. In August, the 2 white label partners of FSB Technology had their platforms suspended. These partners were 1xBet and Blackbet, and the consequence was that 1xBet was no longer accepted as a sponsor for the Tottenham Hotspur football team, playing in the Premier League. This suspension was started by the Sunday Times newspaper investigation.

David McDowell, the co-founder and CEO of FSB, declared that the investigations were triggered by the UK Gambling Commission’s concerns regarding due diligence performed on some of their white label partners.

In the case of EveryMatrix, the company has also released a statement in which the company promised to work closely with the UK Gambling Commission during the review of its license. The company also stated that they have taken effective actions in order to reply to the regulator’s concerns. EveryMatrix took this opportunity to declare how committed it is to be compliant with the regulations and to strengthen its processes and procedures to comply with the regulations.

Even though the UK B2C white label partners hope the matter will be solved as soon as possible, EveryMatrix underlined the fact that the company’s B2B licenses have not been affected by the situation.
